The Library OnConference (Lib OnCon) is created for you. As fellow public librarians, we understand that some of your best ideas come from sharing experiences, talking about difficulties, and just getting connected with other library professionals. But we also understand the reality that many public libraries and librarians face: understaffing and budget restrictions. These issues can hinder library staff  from going to conferences that would introduce them to the very people who can provide much-needed inspiration and motivation.

That's why we're introducing Lib OnCon. Without worrying about travel, registration, and staff scheduling, we hope that anyone who wishes to participate is able to. All you need is Google Hangouts and you'll be connected to an amazing keynote speaker and fantastic library colleagues. Unlike other virtual conferences, this one will let you chat with each other in small group sessions.

As registration opens up, we will post details about how you can attend this new, virtual get-together. In the meantime, meet our team, learn about the keynote speaker, and get excited!
